Belvoir is proud to have a partnership with Optus that is now over 10 years old. In 2006 we created the Community Access Program made up of two initiatives – the Charitable Tickets Program and our established Unwaged Performance Program.
Through the Charitable Tickets Program, 600 tickets per year have been shared across Optus’ 13 not-for-profit partners, including Youth Off The Streets, Beyondblue, The Cancer Council, Kids Help Line, Mission Australia, The Salvation Army, The Starlight Children’s Foundation, World Vision and others.
Through the Unwaged Performance Program, Belvoir offers free-of-charge performances to the unwaged. The Unwaged Performances have a very enthusiastic following, with queues for tickets often weaving down Belvoir Street. See more about these performances on our Optus Community Access Program page.
In 2009 we were delighted to be announced winners of the Bytecraft Entertainment Commitment Award at the Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) awards for our longstanding partnership.
"It is wonderful to have such a strong and committed partnership. With Optus right there behind us Belvoir has been able to reach an ever-increasing range of audiences and communities throughout each season."
