THE SAPPHIRES

Transferring The Sapphires from Melbourne to Sydney has not been the easiest of tasks! Trying to squeeze a full size jeep in through Company B's loading dock presented the first of many challenges for the production team. Fitting in the rest of the set, including a separate rostrum for four musicians, their instruments and the four Sapphires meant an almost total last minute re-staging and re-blocking of the show.

Be sure to see the incredible job the entire cast and crew have done for yourself. The Sapphires runs until February 20.

CRESCENT MOON, YELLOW STAR

Set in the near future, Ariel Sharon, arrives in Hell where he meets a carpenter building coffins and a pope.

In an afterlife that is frequently and mysteriously punctuated by train announcements, falling buildings and sacred music the three men make an attempt to unravel why they are there. In doing so they enter into a discourse that re-examines the notion of historical truth. Timely, polemical and full of dark comic moments, Crescent Moon, Yellow Star is a play that will make you question what you thought you knew.
