With only two days to go til the first preview of It Just Stopped there is an overwhelming sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. Alongside the builders finishing the final touches to the theare, the crew of It Just Stopped have been manically bumping in the show.

The set looks fabulous in the redeveloped space, and the amazing script and calibre of the It Just Stopped cast make it a perfect production to christen our new theatre.

Our next production, Keating! is about to go into rehearsals. In the offices of Company B we have been experiencing the infectious energy of writer and musical director, Casey Bennetto. AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS FOUNDATION AWARD

Good news! Last week Company B won the Australian Business Arts Foundation's inaugural 'Giving Award' (NSW sector). The award celebrates arts organisations that have been successful in raising money for arts programs and/or capital campaigns and fostering a culture of philanthropic support for the arts.

It has been with the extreme generosity of our friends, artists and benefactors that we have been able to raise an unprecedented amount of money for the redevelopment of Belvoir St Theatre. Thanks to everyone who has given so much.

A comedy institution and Sydney's longest running show turns 24 this year and returns to it's spiritual home at Belvoir St. Contestants are gathering to vie for the prestigious Cranston Cup. For three Sunday nights (5, 12 & 19 November at 8.30pm) the crème de la crème of comic improvisers will put their wit and courage to the test to win the nation's tallest, ugliest and most prestigious trophy.
